For some time now, Amber and Nick have wanted to devote more space to some very specific things: traditional gothic style, beautiful dark accoutrements by small-batch designers, one-of-a-kind items, and avant-garde fashion.

Once they secured the new location for DWYBO on Church Street, the team had a rare opportunity to stretch their legs with their original space on Pickering Wharf. This spring, the Wharf Street shop will become The Ossuary, a boutique specializing in handmade and small batch gothic clothing and jewelry.

Featuring higher-end gothic couture designers and visual decor that will feel more like an experience rather than a retail shop, the aesthetic will still revolve around graveyard visuals and funerary vibes like the original DWYBO, leaning more toward catacombs, mausoleums, and charnel houses.

They’re thrilled to have the opportunity to devote that entire space to brands, artists, and designers they adore and love to support, including pieces from some of their very favorite makers: I Do Declare, Thorns Clothing, Rapt In Maille Jewelry, Blackwood Castle. Weapon of Choice, and Gloomth to name a few.

Look for The Ossuary opening in late spring 2022 at 77 Wharf St, Salem. Follow the teasers on Instagram!
